The building of a custom rod all starts with the rod blank, the proper blank selection for the type of rod being built, and also for the type of fishing to be performed. We use only the proven best in rod blanks, many in which hold world record catches and offer a lifetime guarantee.

Not only are the rod's component's most important, rod assembly is as well, and our bonding and gluing technique is un-matched. Reel seats, like all components, vary greatly in quality and the use of anything but the highest in quality is very compromising, since replacement of one that fails is a major, time consuming, costly repair. Aftco, Fuji, Stuart and Pacific are superb, in that order,and our choice. NO compromising.

We inspect and dress each and every guide, therefore preventing the blank from any damage, which if left un-addressed will weaken the rod blank, causing rod breakage,failure, a lost trophy fish, and a bad feeling in your stomach.
